Welcome to my Cop Site :)

Hello, and welcome! My name is Jennifer, and after being very insecure about my life basically since I was 9 years old, when I turned 26 I made a big decision to change my life and try to become a police officer. The training was hard, but I did well, and shot through my class in the top 5. Graduating was one of the most rewarding moments of my life, and I'm still proud of achieving this today. My parents were (and still are!) too. I was hoping to go back to my parent's county and join the local force, but was forced to join a police force about 15 miles from home. That was fine by me though, I was just happy to get a job I was sure I'd love.

For 4 years, I updated this web site and wrote about all the stuff I did on the job. I loved being a cop and I'd recommend it to anyone. Doing police work in a community that respects you and loves you is one of the most rewarding things to do. It's a beautiful job, and you get so much back from the people you are protecting. I honestly hope my children will one day consider joining the police.

For me, however, my police squad days are over. It's been a solid four years, but in my current physical condition I'd be forced to just do paperwork, and as a field-player, I'd be constantly reminded about the fun of being on the road by seeing my co-workers leave and come in all day. I couldn't handle that. I'll be taking a couple months off, see what I'm looking for, and will try and find a job that offers me the same level of excitement and satisfaction.

I'll be closing down this web site at some point in the future. Until then, don't expect any more updates. I'm no longer a cop, so cops-news.info shouldn't be updated by me anymore. Who knows, maybe one of my co-workers wants to continue my bloggin'!
